Myths of Evolution
This is an excellent article that explains some interesting holes in evolution.

We travel around the US with a team of men and women targeting places where we know we'll find sinners. We knew we would find some church going Christians but what we found was shocking. It wasn't the heathen at these wicked evil events. It was the entire church! Please pray for us as we go out to go find those that have gone astray.

Hey verandoug,
I thought I'd post here, rather than through Maragon's blog.
The site that you link puts the Cambrian explosion at ~500 million years ago. So unless you are contending that the dinosaurs went extinct before this time, I think you'll have to concede this one.
I do appreciate that you are embarked on an ongoing search for knowledge and truth (I know you would say you already have the capital-T Truth!), it speaks very highly of your character.
However, I do wonder at some of the things you write, for example:
"...there used to be land bridges that connected Russia and Alaska and Australia with Asia. This is also mentioned in the Bible (Genesis 10:25)" - from Ray's "Ignorant Knuckle-draggers" post
Now, I looked at Gen 10:25 and it says nothing about land bridges, at all. So unless there's some metaphor going on here that I don't know about (due to being a blind atheist) I'm going to have to call you on this one.
Any clarification would be great,
Matt
"I made a mistake because I was confused about the Cambrian explosion and the timing of it. I think for truth's sake, we have to correct those kinds of things and admit that we didn't understand it correctly but we shouldn't make even joking accusations because of this very thing. There is a big difference between making an honest mistake and making an unfounded accusation.
You know it's just more proof that we are Christians and truly God's children because we are held to a higher standard than anyone else on the planet.

A month and a half after I pointed this out - this does not sound like you are taking this 'Higher Standard' too seriously!
Anyway, water under the bridge now...
Sometimes, Matt, I don't see these blog posts. I don't know why though. But I will try to be more careful.
