When the church was attacked about twenty years ago and their freedom of speech was taken away within the public school, please note that no violence occurred. Homosexuality, according to the Bible, is a violent mentality. Once again, the Bible said it first.

The protest at the church was not violent; it was disruptive, disrespectful, juvenile and unproductive...but it wasn't violent.
And before you ask, I have already left a comment on the group's website telling them this very thing. If they want to be treated equally by the community at large, they're going to have to take a different approach to this one.
The 15 yr old killing a classmate for being jilted is extremely tragic, but; how often do you hear of that happening among heterosexual relationships? Pretty often, I'd say. I would submit that it wasn't the fact that the kid was gay that drove him to murder, you'd have to provide a lot more evidence if you were going to claim this.
Of course, the fact that he was gay could have been a root cause of insecurity and loneliness if he wasn't embraced by his peer group (being 'different' and all), it's not uncommon for kids who don't fit in to act out - gay or not.
