It's only fair, I guess. We already had National God Day on Feb 30th.

And then there's Easter, which is April Fools Day for Christians.

I should have included the Scripture. The fool has said in his heart there is no God.

And?? Without objective validation that your magic book is credible, you may as well say that Grimm's Fairy Tales says it, therefore it must be true.

Figures your bible would be Grimm's Fairy tales. It is God that is not allowing you to see Him or know Him. He resists the proud. In all my years of talking to people online, I have never met anyone as blasphemous and hardened of heart as you, Leigh.

Ha, Leigh is actually tame compared to some out there. Where did she say her Bible IS Grimm's Fairy Tales? Also it seems strange to me that a loving God who does not want you to go to Hell would punish people who question the Bible being the word of God.

Is it a sin to question the Bible and search outside of it for answers?

No. I was telling Leigh in a different post that God appreciates people who don't believe every word but seek out a matter.

Proverbs 14:15 The simple believeth every word: but the prudent man looketh well to his going.

Nathaniel was told by his brother that Jesus was Messiah. He said in what seems to me a skeptic's remark, "Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth?" Jesus gave him the proof that Nathaniel required and gave him a compliment by saying that Nathaniel had no guile. He was a pragmatic skeptic. Thomas was too.

Paul commended the Bereans for checking things out in the Scriptures. There are two proofs - the record of nature and the Word of God. You can't use the Word of God to dictate nature. Otherwise you come out with a fairy tale. The record of nature, according to God, is a valid evidence of His invisible attributes and is clearly seen in the things that are made. Plus, 1 Thess 5:21 says to test all things, hold fast to that which is good.

The Bible is the only holy book where spiritual evidence is valid and true. All spiritual truth must be compared there in the same way that science compares physical evidence to other physical evidence.

Have a blessed day!
